SBA Partnership: A Catalyst for Success
The SBA’s Empower to Grow (E2G) program—formerly the 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program—provides eligible small businesses with free training, one-on-one consulting, and tools to improve operations, hiring, compliance, and competitiveness in government contracting.
Program benefits include:
- Personalized one-on-one training sessions
- Virtual networking with agencies and prime contractors
- Matchmaking opportunities and market strategy development
- Access to state, local, and federal government contracting opportunities
- Specialized training including Sources Sought & RFI responses, master classes, and FedMAP
Who Is Eligible for E2G Training?
To participate in the Empower to Grow program, a business must:
- Qualify as a small business under SBA's size standard
- Meet at least one of the following:
- Be located in an area of high unemployment or low income
- Be owned by low-income individuals
- Be eligible for the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program
