SMTP Settings

In order to send email from Bidspeed, you'll need to set up your SMTP settings in your user preferences. This allows Bidspeed to send mail as if it comes directly from your email account.

If you don't know your SMTP settings, you may need to ask your mail administrator. Several of the more popular public email system settings are listed here:

Gmail

‍User Name: (your email address, including the @gmail.com)
Password: (your gmail password)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
Outgoing server port: 587
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Yes (checked)
My SMTP Server requires encryption: Yes (checked)

GoDaddy Email

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtpout.secureserver.net
